Rod Nelson -- Director, LETS, LLC and Captain- HCSO retired
Bev has been working for over 40 years in the real estate area for her sheriff. Bev and her former county attorney Chuck Salter are primarily responsible for the drafting of HF 1027. Rod and Bev will present “40 years of practice tips in 40 minutes”. Stuff you won’t find in caselaw or statute!

Michael has practiced in the mortgage foreclosure area for many years and is tremendous resource. Mike will cover the mortgage foreclosure process from service to sale; including recent caselaw and statutory changes..

Eric Cook -- Wilford, Geske, & Cook, PA
Eric was on the legislative committee for HF 1027 and he presented the bill to the legislative committee. He did a great job of explaining the benefits of our legislation. Eric will cover legal issues during and at the end of the redemption period; including recent changes dure to caselaw and HF 1027.

Melissa’s firm handles more foreclosure cases than any other law firm in Minnesota. Melissa will address the effect of recent HUD regulations which may affect Sheriffs’ sales and the possible electronic Sheriffs’ sales; making you job easier.

Sam will explain why Sheriffs are now receiving more judgment and decree sales, when in the past it was only mortgage foreclosure by advertisement sales.
